Setting the Fish Speed determines how quickly the fish move. If the fish seem a tad sluggish, try increasing the speed. If Fish! seems to be slowing your application down, try selecting a slower speed.
Setting Screen Saver Options
• "Delay" is the amount of idle time that Fish will wait for before kicking in the screen saver.
• "Backdrop Color" is the color of the background behind the Fish in screen saver mode. Black and White each give solid background colors. "Desktop" fills the background in with whatever your desktop pattern is. (You can set your desktop pattern with the "General" item from the Control Panel.)
• When you move your mouse into the "Sleep Now Corner," the screen saver will start immediately. If you leave your mouse in the "Never Sleep Corner." as you might guess, the screen saver will never kick in, even if your machine is idle for longer than you have chosen in the Delay item. You can change the Sleep Now and Never Sleep corners by clicking in the appropriate corner in the corresponding controls at the bottom of the dialog. If you click in the middle of one on the controls, no corner will be selected and that feature will be disabled.
